The one thing all your patients want, and deserve, is your full attention.
Delivering a stellar experience to every single patient is almost impossible when you are the one doing everything in your practice - the orthotics, the clinical, the marketing, the business stuff. I truly believe that patients pick up on it when you are stretched too thin.
So, what can you do?
- Be hands-on when presenting the idea of orthotics to your patient. Explain all.
- Hire a scribe for notes.
- Have someone else measure, scan, mold, to fit the patients.
- Someone else can send all specifications to the orthotics maker.
- Present the finished orthotic to the patient yourself. Check for fit.
- Reaching out to follow-up with patients is a nice touch, if you can do it.
When you give your full attention to your patients, you create an experience that is so nurturing that people can't help falling in love with you, raving about you, and coming back for more!
